Thanks melon! I think for us bigger would be better because the kids could pet without wanting to hold. The Californians sound really appealing, thought I'm concerned by the "dense" fur. When I was very young my BFFs family raised rabbits and they swore by the Dutch rabbits, which is one that I looked into but no one else has mentioned.

dense fur insulates against cold and heat.

Been good here, just never get a chance/ motivation to actually POST. Been packing to go on some trips; going to Ireland in two days, so been running all over to get the "final items". Found a banjo and bouzouki to mess around with in addition to my guitar. Rabbits and Chickens are probably plotting to kill me in my sleep, they are the pickiest critics.

ugg, LOL Been taking care of 5 real littles and they are a handful. Had another heart attack couple months ago so same ol same ol. LOL

She is actually buff laced but it is hard to tell in the pictures. I am supposed to have 10 pullets and 2 cockerels.

I also have lovely buff laced.
