Well i started my new hoop coop today. Got the site cleared and pounded in 3 T-posts. There will be 10 posts total. Carted the posts and wire down in the Mule. The path down is mostly done but i did not rake all the leaves off yet. Tended 2 fires.
The contractor started building the goat shed today, he got the uprights in place.

So we are close to the same age. Being 60 hurts. I liked 40 a lot better.

I'm clearing out birds for winter. Granny has inspired me! I'm even getting rid of my last hen from Sally.

I moved the lings out today. Van said 47* on the way to school this am. Says 72* now. They have a heat lamp just in case, and I stapled up a few feed sacks to block the wind. Snowflake is being a bully, but I think she'll settle down. I set up extra feed/water.

What kind are they?
I just came in from checking the fires. Both were burnt down to coals, no visible fire. But still unburnt logs. So i tossed on some more wood and got them going again. I rather enjoy tending fires. I Iike being outside and watching the fires. It is chilly tonight. We may get close to the freezing point, i hope not. I have a desert rose i need to bring in. But i will be out again tonight so i can get it if need be.

Trying to get the boys in bed. They have the giggles it seems.
I got an offer of a ride to pain clinic and DH about had a stroke. Said he would drive on a flat first. Tells me all I need to know.
