5 chickies when I awoke this am. 3 black, 1 silver, 1 yellow (outta an olive egg). Critters fed, goat wrestled to tie out, brooder set up, DD taxied to parts store=im pooped. Oh yeah gkids carried to school after I made grilled cheese & fried eggs & packed GD snack box. Ready for a nap at 10am.

I found a tick on the dog! I thought they were done. Maybe the guineas are finding them too. They went past our mail box this morning! Used to be they barely left their run.

Danna, my vine behind the chicken pens turned out to be butternut squash also. It's still blooming & we've gotten 7 squash off it. Wish it had been a pumpkin plant or gourd.

I didnt nap. I had a good nites sleep. Started dw & washer instead. Gonna move chicks to brooder now.

I've been invited to another lingerie shower. I've known this girl since she was 15, and she also lived with us, and I'm not equipped to handle my adult "children" getting married or getting busy. I'm getting her sweatpants.
