Not enough exercise yesterday and hubs is still gone.

Yes, that is a concern, but the yaks were/are used for riding, carrying loads, and I would bet some milking too. You don't want to live that close to wild critters, hence domestication. You can have docile animals that still reproduce well. Proof is in the long history of the Tibetan yaks.

warmer there then it is here.
We've been having warm weather. Foggy this morning for the first time in a long while. Makes the cool weather feel cold. Maybe that's what the hens are cranky about. Both the EEs look like they fell in a plucker.
 
Most mornings my hens are pretty quiet, but every so often, they sound like peacocks... and it always seems to be on a weekend when neighbors are trying to enjoy their morning. I have been in and out trying to calm the beasts.
