My first dress came from the JC Penny outlet and cost $40.00 . Mom made the veil. I give it to DD who threw it away.
2nd time I wore black

I didn't really want a wedding, just wanted to get married. Hubs had a jillion people on his side, I had 6. Hubs wanted to mark the occasion in a big way since it took us so long to get to that point. I really think he didn't want to face the wrath of his mother if we eloped or went to the courthouse! Anyway, we organized the whole thing ourselves. No family helped, except my sister made my veil. Putting a big wedding on is not for the faint of heart, and certainly not for novices!
