You can get a big box of super worms or crickets pretty cheap, shipped direct.

I used to have a worm farm until hubs killed them off. I stored them in the basement through the winter & he decided to paint something with very strong odor oil base paint. That was the end of the worm farm.

Maybe that is why women used to live longer then men, They wore pantyhose and it stopped them from decaying as fast.

Melon, is it possible that they have sand fleas. Little black bugs make me think of those.

Maybe? If they are in found in sand, I am nowhere near the stuff. No sandflies here either, the cold has sent them all back to hell where they belong.

None of that will save them from the mites. You need to kill the mites.

I am, I am spraying the coop and birds with Permethrin, which should kill them instantly. I have horse ivermectin, but it is slightly expired so I didn't know if I should use it or not. My rooster is really anemic, and I am worried about him. I can't take him to my vet b/c she is out of town.

I used to play with little worms when I was a little . Then I grew and they didnt. It was the only thing I had to play with was nature. LOL

Them d@MN thing strangle you. Made the mistake of buying control top waist once. Had to to ladies room & take them off because they were killing my stomach. Didn't care who thought I was crazy at the funeral. I try to never, ever have to wear them. So nobody on here is allowed to die except for if it is in the summer months when I can get away with no nylons
