Granny's gone and done it again

and that would be remedied with the freaking brace.

Not into competitive sports anymore, and doesn't want to have surgery. He rehabbed it well enough to function for walking and hiking and some tennis. The muscles compensate for the loss of the ligament... during the rehabbing, the necessary ones get much stronger to hold the knee in place. It's the same thing that happened to Belle, and hers was usable as well, but not 100%.
you dont say freaking ! hahahaaa

I expected it to be unexcused. I'm mad that they asked for a note and then didn't accept my note.

Our school is out for "fair day."

Fair enough. Pretty sure the motto for my district should be "Do your job" Because they are constantly making mistakes like that one.

School starts a week before fair does here.

This stupid school. :rant Is my little rant guy back yet? Yesterday they sent home a report card for DD with three unexcused absences. It said "needs doctor or parent excuse." Those were the dates we traveled for the wedding, so I wrote a note. The teacher was informed of the absences beforehand, and even sent a homework packet with DD. Anyway, today my note was sent back stapled to a copy of the attendance policy, with a big red star next to a highlighted section that said parent and doctor notes would only be accepted within five days, not exceptions. :barnie

So I've written ANOTHER note saying that was passive aggressive and unnecessary, that I only did it because the report card said it was needed, that the teacher was aware of the absences ahead of time and hadn't requested a note, and that I'm happy to discuss the matter further IN PERSON.
Sounds like you really need that little rant guy.
They put in these :hmm:jumpy. Rant would be good!!!

he suspects it torn yes but only did xray . You cant tell like that
You can tell when the knee joint moves in ways that it isn't supposed to, like hub's knee. Use your extreme stubbornness to get the proper brace asap before you damage it more.
