he said he gets up to pee and cant get his feet warm. I wonder if he just wants to complain ?

He needs slippers. Or carpet runners where he is walking. Maybe he wants.... attention.

What? That doesn't explain why he wouldn't want his room warmer. Maybe he needs some slippers. Electric socks?

he bought some new slippers last time we were out. I told him sleep in them.

Those oil filled radiator heaters are really nice. They don't make noise and give off a nice gentle heat that doesn't dry you out. Only thing is it takes a little while for them to warm the room, so not instant heat. My dad uses one in his room which is at the end of a long hall away from the wood stove. He loves it.

crock pot roast turned out really good.. used McCormick pot roast seasoning packet w. can cream of shroom and 2 cups water. Nice thick gravy . No salt or anything else except the veggies.
