Granny's gone and done it again

I dont know. wasnt what I wanted
So you hate them? You should see my curtains... huge solid panel to cover the sliding door... ecru/tan color with brown slubby bits... plastic/rubberish backing for better insulation. Yucky, but it was what they had at the time. Lately, they got so dirty, I decided to wash them. The stupid backing kind of melted and stuck together, and when I tried to straighten it and pull it apart, the backing all pulled off the fabric. :he Now my ugly curtains have blobby light spots showing through where the backing is missing. Ugly has become butt ugly. But they are clean!!!

EXACT same thing on my sliding doors. I hung them to dry but I see the light spots showing through where rubber came off and they are off white . Light tan before I washed them. LOL

I have the 2 confused ?

aww, thats sad mama . :hugs Its what we are supposed to want for our kids but honest , I dont. :(
I am conflicted. :hmm I like that he wants to be independent and the freedom for me will be good, but there will be new worry now. And a big increase to the insurance policy. :hit

I dont hate hate them but not crazy about them either. I wanted to hide the blinds and 8 didnt do it. The room looks ok with them, the paint , trim matches. The little furniture I have in there does not. Only thing looks good is the darker wood bunk beds. hahaa

You too??? :lau It said they were washable, and i know I did it before. It also said to put them in a dryer. I hung these out. Maybe the heat from the dryer would have unstuck the backing. Or maybe it would have melted the whole thing into a giant ecru colored ball... with brown slubs.

We are having a hard time finding something to replace them... so here they hang. I don't have a lot of company. :D
