Granny's gone and done it again

Well the little red chick wasn’t in the coop last night. I looked and looked, no luck. And I didn’t see it running around this morning either. :(

I fixed up the bachelor pen and moved the 4 roos over. A couple of them are pretty heavy! I’m going to feed 28% game bird crumbles and maybe wet it down with buttermilk to help “clean them out.” I should’ve gotten a start weight in them, but I’ll just have to guess to decide if it works or not.

The babies were really cutting up and there was a fair ruckus because everyone was ready to get out and eat. I kept thinking I heard a stray peep, and sure enough wedged in a corner behind the feeder was the little red chick. So I put it in the broody suite with Pamela to get warm, then added the other two later.
