Granny's gone and done it again

I treated mine but never did check them.
Eh, he jumped on my back when I was cleaning out their pen, my sister grabbed him and I decided to check, you know, if she was already holding him. There's a lot of build up around his vent. Started poking around and saw probably three mites on my fingers.

Got the Idea at the Ohio national, some guy was brushing his cochins with a cat brush, guessed it will probably work to help breakdown the mass.

I dont think I have heard of anyone brushing the feathers. Let me know how it works out.

You never tried to diet? Oh man, i started in high school! Most people end up gaining the weight back. What you need to do is cut back on concentrated sugars, eat fresh unprocessed food. What everyone should do, especially diabetics. It is not easy but your body will thank you. Don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a life style change. You eat all the veggies you want. Eat your protein. Quit eating crap like pop tarts. Give a hoot about your heath. You had a major heart attack! Change your ways and enjoy life. If you care about your quality of life.
never tried. Its hard to with hypoglycemia

I know! I tried to not let him see the look of shocked horror on my face.
I will, might take a before and after shot if I am feeling up to it. All I need to do is find a willing *ahem* victim to hold the bird while I brush...

Don't sound so enthusiastic! :lau Bad time to diet!
It's a great time to start a diet. If you can do it at the holidays, rest of the year will be a cinch. It's what you said... lifestyle change. You just have to decide to do it. Wish I wasn't so indecisive. :hmm

Just checked my roo, saw some mites on him :mad:. No where near as bad as it was a week ago. Gave him a few sprays with the Gordon stuff, going to brush out his fluff outside tomorrow; see if i can get some of the dead skin out of the way so the spray will yield a stronger effect.
:mad::mad::mad: kill them

LOL That one sucks
Aw, I liked your kitty.
