Granny's gone and done it again

I have not had any since i moved here, and not expecting any until February . But i am enjoying my chickens ! They are so cute! And being good chickies, all in the coops before dark.

I should have eggs though. My April chicks are molting. They just started laying August/September.

All my hens are going through a molt. One is pertnear naked. I ain't had an egg in 2 weeks

same thing here. Except I had a leghorn egg yesterday

there is a ceder tree just out them windows . It about 7ft. tall. I got 2 strands of lights then dollar tree for some plastic balls.

OH ! Goodwill had a loveseat matches my furniture for $36.00 AND they both reclined ! Aint that something ? No way to haul it of course.

Half of mine had a slow molt this year. The old buff Orp only has 3 tail feathers right now, so she's almost done. Doesn't really matter with her, because she's never really laid many eggs. Peach is a pet... my older son's therapy chicken! haha... He thinks she loves him. I don't have the heart to tell him she is just looking for treats. I better not let him see camping's sig line either!

I've worn shorts or capris for the past 3 afternoons. Went to cattle sale to scope out price of weaned calves. We're getting ready to buy a few. Then to co-op for feed-layer & chick crumbles. Came home & fed all critters. Watered critters in the cold am-31*. Chicken,rice,carrots & green peas for supper. Doing laundry & loaded dw. Im pooped.
