Ok. Vent over. DH told me to calm down.

At least this is a warm-ish storm, so you don't have to worry about freezing. Can you charge your phone in the car? I'm not tech savvy enough to know how the cell towers work if the power goes out... no service? Not very good for people in an emergency, especially if you don't keep a landline like me... because I'm old and don't trust all this fancy new stuff.

Yes, I can charge my phone in the car. Not sure about the service though.. Sometimes it goes out too... It's already acting weird today.

Good morning all ! Been to the grocery after dropping off #2. Home now and finishing a little breakfast while catching up here.

Linda, you be sure and send any extra rain down here. Sure could use it. Nothing yet for us. May get some showers tonight and Friday morning.

Sally, I will look into the short leg connection to the lethal gene. I do have a stumpy hen! I thought those lethal conditions usually meant that they don't hatch, but I dunno.

Glad you are going to be coming to granny's house more. I look in on your hatching thread once in awhile, but if I tried to keep up there and here, I would never get out of this chair. Tempting though!

Twist, I think the dogs' routine has been different too, what with you putting so much time into the yaks. Can't blame it all on the weather!

I know its hard, I have some down time so I can sit right now. I totally getcha!

Haha!  When I see your avatar, it reminds me of some big brained alien character from the old Star Trek...  so I read your last post as brain shifting powers!   If CA gets too much rain at once, it will be really bad for the areas that had the big fires.  Most rain for us will be tomorrow morning.  Hoping for an inch.  News said some areas up your way could get 2 feet!  

I believe it cause it hasn't let up yet.

But the kids are all texting me to pick them up cause the power is blinking. Lol I'm ignoring them right now. They are ruthless. Told them the storm hasn't even started yet.
