I'm still dealing with rats. Hubs made this elaborate trap where they walk out over a barrel to get the peanut butter and roll off to get trapped in the barrel. I've heard of this kind of trap for mice, but he is underestimating a rat's intelligence. I'm going to buy some snap traps today. They have to go. I have been finding rat turds in one of the food dishes.

called the bucket of blood. I think. I have made them, Works good for mice but cant put it in the coop cause it works well for chickens too ! hahaa

Did you put vinegar in it? I have to keep the salt down in everything I cook because hubs can taste the slightest bit. He even rubs the salt off of pretzels! He's a little paranoid about the salt.

No I didnt. I love my salt ! I put the slightest shake of dill in it ? Very old dill.

1 is the sapphire roo and 1 is the crested, feather legged OE from Sally's eggs. I want to keep them both for breeding. Then I have monster, and the pretty EE I'm still growing. Bad personality, but I want to see his grown up feathers.

Lol I can't remember. I know I have 3 for sure that I don't want for breeding. One has a small comb with a thumb print in it. One has white in his hackles, and the last one is fine. He has good shape and posture, nice tall comb, good tail and color. White earlobes, but so does Ragnar. But somehow he got an injury to his eye and he's blind now on one side. I know it's cosmetic, but I still couldn't sell him and feel good about.

I just heard that stupid hawk screaming outside. Or did I? We have a mockingbird that does a wicked good hawk call.

Now I'm never sure. Maybe the mocker calling keeps away the real hawks. No more kestrel killings, so I've been letting out the seramas, but think I am pushing my luck.
