Well, actually I didnt start it. H20 asked if I had gone to visit you and I just couldnt let the chance pass by to start something.

This is the closest pic of the type of squeeze chute I got. there are 2 pins about 1/2 way up that you can pull and then the solid part can come out to work on feet and lower body. In mine each pole is separate instead of upside down U shape and un locks and drops down so you can get to what ever area of the upper body you need. The sides close in and can "squeeze" the whole body of the animal which stop them from throwing their bodies around and honestly seems to clam them down as well. There is a back swinging panel so they can not back out of the chute or others run thru when you open the front to release the one in the chute. You can also choose to let their head thru and trap it or not. You can do all the side stuff on both sides

yes , yes and yes but even if you flew out there wouldn't have been enough time. It does explain why you were cleaning house before they got there tho

Both wagoner and tibbet's had managed to remove most of their halters and just had the around the throat part hanging so we had to catch them ( no run, chute or anything where they are) and take them off before they managed to hurt themselves. Enola was the "flavor" of the day yesterday.

The calves have already worn a path in the ground from circling around the perrimiter of the paddock lost of grunting mom's not to amused either.

Thats a pretty great idea those shoots. And yes it does calm them. Tempel Granden (sp) discovered this and changed how cows were treated and brought to slaughter. She is a wonderful woman and Autistic. I have her life story on dvd. She is an inspiration to others.
