Granny's gone and done it again

Quote: I think so yes, thanks. Beaux had extreme diarrhea overnight. He was covered in it from horn to hoof, and the inside of the coop looked like a Jackson Pollock. So I got a little worried and ended up taking a fecal to the vet. Beaux was clean for coccidia and worms, and the vet suggested a probiotic powder and to just watch him a few days. I need to take his temp, but I didn't pick up a new thermometer.

yuck. Poor little guy. Hope he's over the worst. Wonder if he nibbled something he shouldn't.

Your right Granny 9 chickens is not enough I left one out. I have 10 I also have a Isa Brown hen named Nugget. I knew I would leave somebody out. I don't have any predisone to give her, don't you need a prescription for that? I have checked Goldie's underside out. She is the little bantam cochan that I have that is not walking. It doesn't feel like anything is broken on her legs or feet and she doesn"t have bumblefoot. It's like her legs are not working anymore when she tries to walk.

I cut out all the pieces. I'm reading the directions and it says to line up notches... Was I suppose to cut the little triangles out on the patterns. It's not to late I can still do it or is there something else I need to do for those areas???! @campingshaws

Yep, supposed to leave the little notches. You can mark with a pencil or crayon where the notches should've been. I've done that before.

DH was gone all day taking the assistant to Lafayette to get her broken-down car. He beat me home by half an hour. I just wandered through the kitchen and there's a cast iron skillet on the counter.

I hit my husband in the back with a skillet. I was cooking and he come home and said I blew the engine up in the car. I knew he was hotrodding it or it wouldn't have blown up.

Ack! The big hens were fussing just now, so I went out to check. All of them were crowded under their grapefruit tree, and looking up and around. The 2 garage serama were right there too, on my side of the fence. I thought maybe a grapefruit had dropped and scared them, so I walked up to the coop to check for eggs and found one. yay! Then Buster started in and when she alert calls it sounds like a sick goose! loud! They were still under the tree and looking up, so I started checking to see if anything was there. After a few seconds, I locked eyes with a little hawk or kestrel or something!

< That's how I scared it away... yelled and waved my arms. Sheesh! Got to go check the other chickens!!
