Rod is going on a long week end to visit daughter and such. It's to early to give the calves their booster. Only other thing to do is clean out the gen pop coop and I honestly don't want to do that when its going to be that warm.

Tried to shovel the pens out. Litter is like concrete. Got 2 5gallon buckets put in garden. Cleaned a 3x4 foot area.
Turnip greens & kale have come up. No sign of beets yet. Gonna puts soaker hose beside them. I disturbed some when i watered them this am.

love soaker hoses until they spring geysers that is. LOL Beth is quite fond of chewing them into about 2 inch pieces and then spreading them around the yard

I have actually had to use a maul/pick ax/ax in order to break up get thru the poopament under the roosts before the good news is the roost is on chains and hinges so I can lift it up and out of the way. gets rid of working stooped over for the most part.
