the turkey was all white when I bought him/her ? I noticed today its skin on the head/neck is a very healthy looking pink. Thats why it was so friendly, it wasnt getting what it needed. It is trying very hard to make friends. a hen was taking a dirt bath today and it layed next to her and tried to mimic . very funny with those long legs.

fridge is working (it wasnt making ice) sink is fixed . dinner is over , dishes washed, (thank you CB) chickens fed , baby gone. Camping, the "other black meat" ICs? This woman offered me chicks for $10.00 each.

exactly I even said something. She said the woman she got hers from bought the pr. for 5 grand from GFF. does that sound right ? She said she only paid 50 so she figures 5 chicks will get her money back.

wonder if they are culls ? I know I should take them , just kinda dont want to. No one around here will pay much for them and I would have to get NPIP to ship.

I think you'd like one or two just in the flock. The way they act is very regal. They've grown on me.

Yes Kathy. There have been studies. I thonk it was u of md. They parilize the worms & they release from the intestine & are expelled with the feces. This is what i use every fall to worm mine. I also put cayanne in the feed one a month. I don t like using chemicals with my chickens. No disrespect taken! I put garlic & acv in there water & give them yogurt often.

Im a little tissed but i ll get over it. I put ash from our fire pit in my pens too.
Camping the article came from byc. I only mix fresh ground pumpkin seeds with milk & feed to the chickens in the morning & don t feed them that day.
Your probably gonna use the chemical. I use safeguard on our horse but i don t eat her eggs.
