Granny's gone and done it again

Quote: It was near dark when a landscape worker discovered what he thought was a body. The police were concerned that they would destroy evidence in the dark if they disturbed the scene, so they didn't even verify that it was a person. The field is unmowed, and there is tall dry grass all through, over 2 ft high. They cordoned off the area and an officer stayed all night to guard it. I did not hear about another boy standing by, but Kirk had been reported missing Oct. 17, so it was probably a concerned friend. They police didn't really have a choice. If they walked over useful footprints, that would have been worse. The parents will need to know what happened. Kirk's high school is very near the scene (different than #2's) so it could have been a student.

:hugsNo, just a regular kid.  #1 remembers playing Transformers more than Lego.  Kirk had tons of toys and #1 was obsessed with Transformers.  These days, when something like this happens, I always think of drug involvement.  I hope is was some sort of accidental death, and someone panicked and hid the body.  deep breath.  As h2o said, way too close to home.

:hugs. To you and your son.
