Fresh snow is beautiful, but it's surprisingly easy to live without it.

Neither of those are really that bad. Totally worth it to not have frozen feet. Besides, a few hours drive up into the Sierra and there's snow galore... when there's no drought.

Oh, and don't forget beautiful rugged coastlines and redwood trees.

and TRAFFIC and crime and all those people sucking up my air. Been out there many times when various and at one point all my siblings lived out there.
