Problem with half taming ( take note Camping) They are just enough not scared of you to bite. Like feral dogs. way more dangerous then wild dogs.

only allowed 1 tag and its a lottery system, you have to put in for the tag by the first part of June. And since I wanted the meat and you cant eat horns and everyone seems to want bucks I figure by going for a doe I have a better chance. a few years ago we had so many deer that some people were getting 2 or 3 tags this year tags limited to 49,000 for the entire state.
