Preferably after we close cause then I'll be okay to rack up the debt load a wee bit for other stuff and make big purchases without the bank wagging their finger at me.

The heat radiates out through the window and the whole thing get hot. There is a vent along the top when most of the heat comes out. It's sort of a double walled box, cooler air gets sucked in at the bottom vent and hot air out the top. We set a fan on top that is heat activated which blows the heat out into the room. Wood burning. Whole point is to save money on the utility bill, so gas wouldn't help that.
