I talked to Danna a little bit ago and she asked how everyone was here. They are still waiting to hear when surgery will be on her DH. Her DD has come to help out .

Going down to 29* tonight. Been to church, old fashioned day singing with dh & his bros & sister. Came home to sit in car with dh & listen to last 50 laps of last NASCAR race of the year. Didn t feed chickens today. Hope rhodabar roo will be hungry enough that i can catch him at the feeder. Need to move him to the big pen with 15 hens for the winter.

I did a small crock with the crumbles wet down and added acv only let it sit over night but on the warm stove. I have an old fashioned gas stove that stays pretty warm. The chickens ate that bowl so fast. I don't know how it cuts down on feed because they seemed to eat fast than ever.

They eat more at first, but less later. It's a combo of them getting the correct ratio of vitamins with the ferment and stocking up on it and getting over it being something new. My birds will always go after the something new until they've had it for a bit.

It was my moms

It is a replica on a ford pinto. My husband enjoys it.
