Martinis are vodka and other things. I do not like them.

now margaritas, on the other hand...

Classic martini is gin and vermouth. My brother says vodka martinis are pretenders. He says vodka is for people who who want to get drunk but don't like the taste of alcohol because it doesn't taste like anything. He should know. He drinks it all.

Vodka is best off used for making vanilla extract, IMO....
