Didn't go anywhere. Looked at a lot of sales, but didn't see anything worth pulling the trigger on. Ate leftovers, but I really don't like commercial turkey after having homegrown brined and smoked. I'll be raising a few Broad Breasted Bronze again next year for butcher, no matter what. And any birds we raise and butcher will be broken down and individually packed next year. We just don't eat whole birds that often, I'm finding. It'd be nice to just be able to pull out one or two chicken breasts or legs or whatever. And the husband loves fried junk food, so if I can save money by making our own, I need to do it.
