Granny's gone and done it again

these are not dipped I dont think. very little crust.
I started with cloth too with my eldest . Couldnt afford anything else. She was potty broke at a yr. so I got lucky with her.  DS wore toss diapers til he was 4.

Tempura is a very light texture and thin batter. Anything fried gets a coating, otherwise it'd dry out really quick when fried. We could potentially afford disposables, but they seem like such a waste to me, so we chose to invest in cloth diapers.

My daughter is using cloth diapers. Except when they travel.

I fell asleep. LOL
I of course didnt know what tempra meant . LOL  I guess thats what it is then.

Tempura is a batter from Japan made using rice flour which when done correctly leaves a very thin lightly crispy batter, which is great on vegetables and fish. Fried sushi rolls are usually tempura dipped, too.

Most sushi isn't raw, actually. I really like rice wrapped up in seasoned tofu pockets, seaweed, cooked squid salad, salmon skin wraps, spicy California rolls in about a billion different combos, smoked eel rolls, shrimp rolls, veggie rolls, chicken skewers, etc etc And they have a bunch of fried food at the place we normally go to, which my husband loves (and I will occasionally eat a little). Seriously, there are so many options and is actually really, really rare for anyone to get sick off of properly made sushi. The fish is actually better tasting in most applications if it's been flash frozen to extremely low temps, which kills off most of the possible dangerous things in the fish. But if it's low quality to start with, they can't even sell it for sushi, as it must be graded high enough to be sold that way.

I was looking at tempura. I didnt know the name but I love that.
Im not afraid of getting sick eating raw fish. I just cant get over the idea of it. There are a few things I wont even try.

I guess I just never even considered it being an issue to eat. I grew up eating basic ethnic food and now, I'll eat just about anything as long as I know what it is. Only thing I really, truly can't stand is truffles (mushroom kind) and I don't like super greasy Chinese food.
