First time I saw Cabaret, I was about 10, and had never seen a man wearing makeup like that. It was very strange, but this song is what I remember form the whole movie. Probably because I fell asleep. It was the second feature after a really good pirate movie at the drive in theater. Can't remember the name. Swashbucklers, maybe. No more drive ins here.

I used to enjoy that a great deal. Huge screen like that and everybody watching or walking to the snack shack. It felt more like a community for some reason. Odd that in a theater I feel surrounded by a bunch of strangers, that sound like squirrels munching on popcorn! Geeze, when did I get so old?
