I do have confidence in myself but it dont come from looks. I look like what I am, someone with cushings . Its from the steroids I take. the classic moon face.

I wouldnt do it enough to make it worth while. LOL  I dont have nice clothes by choice . I am comfortable in my clothes .

Ditto. Nice clothes are a waste on me anyway- I'd just get chicken poop on them or tear them....

I used to be like you Camping, but you have something I dont. A beautifully shaped face. gorgeous eyes and beautiful smile. So, whoever made you feel like you are anything except beautiful is wrong. But the confidence comes from within. not what people see but what you do. Look at your life, you are a great mom, you love Go, have a stable relationship. You can hatch chickens like no ones business. Look at the skills you have and expand on them. Beauty mostly fades after time. the things you do/ have done with your life will last forever. Throw away that -what will people think- and do what you enjoy. Thats where the confidence will come from. After you look back and say Hey I did that. wow . go me..

Why? Would you like wearing makeup if you had some? I was going to say "I'm not as confident as you are " before I read your whole reply. Now I just want to clean you up.

I wouldnt do it enough to make it worth while. LOL  I dont have nice clothes by choice . I am comfortable in my clothes . I would like to dress up and maybe get some pictures done but Not bad enough to do it or I would have already.  Just sitting here day after day I dont see the need I guess.  But IF we were together I would let you.

I support you! Everyone should be so comfortable with themselves. I used to wear dresses all the time and I loved it. Now I feel self-conscious in dresses and I hate that about myself. :/ I used to spend HOURS playing hair and makeup in the mirror, even though I never had money for the fancy stuff. Just cheapo kits. I've outgrown that (for the most part) but I still love to browse the shops for the pretty things. And smell the lotions, and test the samples. I try to at least brush on some mascara if I'm going to see people, but it's not the end of the world if I don't.

I try to keep nice clothes for church or meetings. Other than that it's all for comfort and function. Even my "nice" clothes are still blue jeans.
