Granny's gone and done it again

did 7 or 8 batches of carmels and 7 of fudge that's over 20 lbs of fudge. I am pooped. Started right about 10 am and finished about 9 pm with just a couple sit down and potty breaks. My whisking hand is not happy BUT it is done for another year. Last year I made more BUT we did it in 2 days..

speaking of, You can take the dog out of the amish counrty but you cant take the amish out of the dog..  Pup is attacking everything electrical that makes noise.  vacuum , mixers, electric razor.   He dont seem to mind the tv though.  enjoys it. Just like the amish. hahahaaa

Wishing I got to thinking about your pizza roll comment And here's my answer What I put in my body is very much different from what I am willing to accept if I am making it or giving it as gifts. Since a batch of carmels takes about 45 minutes or more I am not going to use fake poo like artificial vanilla or margarine. Pizza rolls and such happen to fall into my father's category of " well it will make a turd"

So, what you're saying is one man's fudge is another man's poo, but only if you eat it with pizza rolls?

Pizza rolls not so much but they are easy and I actually don't mind them,. Abhor cooking for one person.
