I'm getting my whole house generator installed today! Squee! I'll be so glad to have that worry gone. If power went, we would still have the wood stove for heat, but we would have to boil water for washing and have no lights. This was a really important one for us to get done, as the neighbors said the road was without power for 2 weeks last Christmas. The power company would come out and cut trees off the line only to have more fall on the line within hours.

GREAT news and FAB idea there were parts of ND in the last major ice and wind storm with out power for weeks if not months. boggles the mind.

ditto  and would have to be one HECK of a storm dumping a whole lot of snow really fast. 

Yea, I'm not sure that would keep me away. Snowstorms just mean alternate modes of transport aka snowmobile or snowshoe. A lot of people here just put tracks on their atvs or utvs in the winter.

We had the big storms last year. It tore the roof off the neighbors fancy horse barn and my brother-in-law didn't have power for 2 weeks. He had a tree come down and take out the transformer on his pole. We lost about 6 trees, but it wasn't anything major. I was watching the news the other day and one guy was paralyzed when his truck was hit by a tree. He was only 20 and has had numerous surgeries to fix problems from it.

So I have a dilemma ?? Do I package and mail my goodies today/or tomorrow or wait until Monday ?? As I know they will just spend the weekend sitting in some handling facility

love the sketch hate tattoo's I think you should take that design to someone and have them make a stained glass window instead OR one of those magnetic stick to the side of vehicles and then you are always displaying it.
