No cat's here at the motel Well none of mine, We have roving cats stroll around but not where the dogs are and the Garage Door is kept closed unless pulling truck in or out of it.

maybe it was already in the food.

Y'all talking about coffee reminded me that I made coffee and lost it! I had to hunt around the house to see where I'd set it.

I end up searching for mine all the time.

I need to install a beeper on it. Of course then I would be searching for the beeper control

I found a critter  DEAD  thank God in the dog food tote in the garage last nite   IT wasn't a  mouse But I have no idea what it was.

Very dark grey fur  but no ears to speak of like a mouse  definitely a male.  just the incisors from what I could see  shortish tail.  tiny eye's 

Did it have 4 fingers in its front legs?
Did it look like that?

I have nightmare's of have a repeat NO ONE should catch over 45 mice in less then 8 hours with only 5 traps. And yet not a mouse or mouse turd in any of the rooms go figure

I still say its from them changing your boiler.

the snout wasn't as pointed and was pretty much solid dark grey with the belly being the same. Scrawny limbs I did NOT count it's toes but did pry its mouth open just 2 teeth on top and 2 on the bottom

It is a rodent and not an insectivor AKA shrew It is some kind of vole
