Granny's gone and done it again

good evening all well I got my Christmas Novella written and sent to Robert for proof reading , I tend towards run on sentences, my college professor encouraged us all to "develop out own style" So when ever I felt the sentence was to long I would throw in a period and then capitalize the a in And put in a comma and a way I would go. I can just hear you former teacher's grinding your teeth.

I do remember this from school though

A preposition never end a sentence with.
