OH and I am taking Robert to the closing with me as neither one of us can figure out why the bank want's 11K plus for interest since I don't have a payment due until feb of 2017 ?? Hoping between the 2 of us the banker doesn't slip something extra in on the loan. I tend to "glaze over after a while and just want to get it done"

I cant figure why you want it in the first place. More years of paying it down..

in part because I can write the interest off on taxes and because it has been really really slow this winter and there is some remodel I want to do while it's slow and for the just in case peace of mind.
