I must say though.

At least hubs was wise enough to run away to work early.

DH had the heat on 63. Took me FOR. EVER. to get brave enough to do farm chores. I forgot to lock up or give warm bedding to ducks so I was pretty nervous. I hadn't seen or heard anything from the goats any of the times I went by. But everyone was fine. The goats have a cute fuzzy little winter coat and even though it "feels like" 23 the ducks were totally content. I threw out corn for everyone and filled the feeders and waterers. Got one green egg and two hona eggs so far.
