Granny's gone and done it again

Got 4 Christmas cards today. Thanks Wishing, Lindalou, Danna, & Mare. Thanks Lynda for the seeds. I think H20 was going to send me some seeds also.
Got my SS today. Wasn t expecting it til after Christmas.

Yeah the blossom in the gravel was one that fell off. It's the small plant in the tiny pot by the plumeria

I just have many pictures of my plumeria but few of my desertrose. Wanted to show off the blossom and that was the best/only one

Yes thanks everyone for the Christmas cards! I didn't expect them at all! Love you guys even if I've been sparse round here.

On another note what do you do with your very first chicken that turned out to be a rooster and is your baby that now wants to attack you every time you come to check/water/feed????? He's my baby Chick Chick... I'm so sad

If you can't put him down, find him a new home. Sometimes they just need a change of environment, but sometimes they're set for life.

I've been having the same issue with the Serama cockerel I kept. He's fine in the coop, but out in the yard he runs up behind me and bumps my ankle. I've been picking him up when he does this and carrying him around a bit. Today he bit me on the arm.

Luckily he is only a pound, so not a danger, but if he was bigger, he would have to go. I will not hatch eggs from him either, not with that temperament. I think the more they are handled as chicks, the more they lose their fear of you and feel free to act on their roosterly urges. What breed is yours?

I use daily to carry Noodlehead around. Held him up by his feet sometimes if he was really naughty.

He restrained himself around me. Was a jerk to hubs ;)
