Wishing, Binks is an outside lean mean hunting machine. If he was a lap cat I dont know how big he would get but he is about a solid 25lbs now. Is that a lot ? inside fat cat is 22lbs.

What in the world am I going to do with all them butts ?

I was trying to find what an Isa brown crossed with silver laced polish would look like. I cant find anything. Does it matter the the roo is the polish ?

I got two eggs today. I put them in Mavis's nest box so she'll know where to lay now.

Mavis and Hank are in the broody suite! In two weeks I'll be SORELY tempted to start hatching her eggs. I need to get the ugly coop ready for the HRIR next. I need to build two doors, fix the roost, and put down new shavings.

I'll be ready to incubate in February! e

LOL I hope to avoid all farm stores this spring. With what I have in the pole barn and incubator and as big as they are supposed to get I will be full up again.

Got an olive egg from 1 of my 2 EE pullets that jist turned 7 months old. Broke the polish egg when i was washing it. I have nests made out of milk crates, parakeet cages too. Gonna use that box idea. I have a shelf build in one pen & i could put boxes on it full of hay. Its the pen with 7 mo pullets just starting to lay 4 polish & 2 EEs.
