Granny's gone and done it again

Back home and battening down the hatches, ready for tonight's storm. The wind was crazy this morning, felt like Dorothy in Kansas. We (royal we, meaning hubs mostly while I held the ladder and flashlight) had to do a quick repair to the layer coop after I noticed the tarp had come loose. Very glad it didn't come all the way off or the last of their pellets would have gotten wet, and I'm trying to hold off until Monday to do a feed store run since we should have a break in the rain.

Hope everyone is warm and cozy with power and water.

No, not cold at all. Pineapple Express blowing in from Hawaii... it's 54° outside right now. Downright balmy!

How are you feeling today? Up and around more than yesterday? Less coughing?

You know how Elvis hatched early? Is it possible that the egg had been sat on for a couple of days prior to you collecting it? He could have started developing before going into the bator.
