Guess what the top stories on the news are tonight. It rained today. It's going to rain tonight. It might flood in some places. It's sprinkling now. Some people lost power today, crews are still working. There are fears more people may lose power tonight.

You know they pay people for these reports! I knew what would be on the news before I watched it.

LOL main reason I don't watch the news. Much prefer it read it in the paper, YES an actual paper with pages you turn by hand

We get the paper too. 40 yrs ago it was called the Press Democrat. Now it is the Press Democrat. Less about news and more about propaganda. AND they cut the funnies to two pages! Very sad. The newspapers will be gone soon. Everything will be digital, even school texts. I much rather read a paper book. But I'm old!

That's all I have/own are paper books. No kindle or it's ilk in this house.
