A really big update from future SIL this morning----DD's workers' comp claim has FINALLY been approved. It only took 18 months and lawyers, but at least now all the medical expenses dating back to her injury (July 2015) will be covered *and*, more importantly, she can get back to the rest of the follow-up care that she needs without being worried about the costs that are piling up. Cannot say enough just how much I adore her fiance - he has been such an asset to her in this battle, especially with us so far away now!

Next battle is to address the education side of things -- getting her transcripts straightened out and holding the university and ARMY's feet to the fire since she has held up her end of the "deal" and would have still been there had it not been for the injury that they are responsible for........
