My students don't pay even a CENT ON TEXT BOOKS! If they tend in all the lessons and know how to summarize they get from me ALL AND MORE OF THE INFO. THEY NEED TO SUCCEED!

Wish it was like that here. I had 1 class with no book. But the other 5 I had $800 in books for a semester when I was in college. My biology book was for 2 semesters though.

Good morning peeps. Hubs got fence for dog run set up.

Dog is slightly unimpressed by it lol.

Ragnar died yesterday, and I don't know what to do with him. There's not a mark on him, not a feather out of place. I think he must've been fighting. Eyes closed, food in his crop... I didn't want him for breeding, but he was still a great roo.

Did look like food around his mouth, but he was way over by the maintenance shed. I was walking to the can and heard lots of commotion, but since the other chickens were running toward the noise I didn't check it out. I'm going to post pics with a spoiler tag.

Underside. I ruffled his feathers and couldn't find an injury. He was cold and stiff.

So sorry to hear about Ragnar, Camping! He was a beautiful roo, and the way he sat on the nest and took care of those babies was truly impressive.
