Granny's gone and done it again

Guess I missed everyone.. was hanging out in my room with Robert. Talking about showers, dead skin cells , girls and dirty rooms. I got no where.
But you tried! It will sink in some day.

Kiki, That little is the cutest critter you got. Love his eyes. Your DH is Mexican right ? The wellsummer he is holding : in my infinite wisdom looks like a rooster to me.
Male Wellies are a different color, black and red. The rooster on the Corn Flakes box was modeled on a Welsummer.

Got this off the internet (from a BYC post) but I was too lazy to track down who to give the credit. Nice looking bird, even though half his tail is missing.

6 eggs isnt going to do well in this big brooder. Camping, didnt you put water bottles in your bator ? Is this why?
We are going to be having swaps at TSC every other month in town starting may I think. We will have food vendors too. BBQ for sure.

Helps keep the temps even and steady, like a brick oven. I use small river rocks in the bottom of my styro bator to help it hold heat.

so that would be good with less eggs ? My bator stays steady. Its more of a humidity thing and me not trusting my gauges

You can try! For only 6 you could weigh or candle to check AC growth.

I had two problems last hatch. the yellow blow was from low humidity and the chick that couldnt hatch because it was so large was from high humidity.

yellow blob not blow . It was in the bottom of the shell after hatch causing sticky chicks.
