that said its best to use those brushes when their hair is damp. I didnt know that. I am tempted to lather him up with conditioner  and brush him out then I can re-bath him after I hopefully get the knots out.

No when you get them wet it just sets the mats in.

did you see where I said there is gold around the neck of my black hen ? I know she was cheap but glad I only bought one. She is very calm. They are big enough to join the flock but Im afraid to turn them loose. the jubilee are so pretty. Big babies.

You can use a spray on conditioner and try to brush the mats out before you bathe him..

On the honas do they have the blue or red sheen to their feathers?
