Granny's gone and done it again

Granny, congrats on the 50,000 posts. That is amazing.

My husband is home with a bad cold/flu. No vomiting or fever but everything else.

I am running my essential oils atomizer in our bedroom because I do not want this.

Your artwork is beautiful, you are so talented.

thank you !

Thanks, dr granny. Infectious diseases dr took fluid for culture. Changed one of the antibiotics. Made dh mad that they changed meds. He was getting red bumps on his chest & back-allergic reaction. He is a difficult patient. Would have refused blood thinner shot again if I wasn t here. Didn't want shot in the stomach.

hopefully they can get this under control now Culture takes a few days to get back. I dont think he is going home anytime soon. Explain to DH if he dont take the shot he will develop a blood clot and possibility of loosing that leg. Maybe scare him enough into taking it . Hate to say that to him but it is the truth. I dont know if they can give the shot somewhere else or maybe put meds in his IV. worth asking about.
I have had those and they are not that painful.

Nurse explained & I said to him just let her do it. He said it didn t even hurt. He does like to go to the dr even. Keeps telling EVERY one it's something wrong with his tendon. It does look a bit better today, thankfully. Culture is to take 24 hours.

infection might be in the tendon. possible. awesome on the culture.

Needs to lower his leg every few hours& stand on it so valves in the veins don't get stuck in the open position.

yup, that movement is important. I never heard of valves getting stuck but I do know he will heal so much faster if he isnt just laying there. And it will help prevent pneumonia ..
