When I first started hatching I couldnt keep my hands off them and killed a couple that pprobably would have been fine so I started leaving at first pip. I would shop til I couldnt take another step and come home and crash. I finally got over that but I still like to interfere.

The video also let them hatch in the turner. Since I am using a turner I am going to prop them up a little some way this time. Assuming any are fertile.

I don't really think that was a good idea... Too easy for a chick to get a leg stuck. Yeah; there's always the guy why hatches in the turners and never has a problem, but it only takes one wrong move....

I expected it to hurt itself. I tried the egg carton and didnt like that because it was too tall. It was touching he sides where they should pip.
