CB said he ate yesterday. just white foam. No fever cold nose . not wet though

web says a few things for constipation but recommends vet do them.  enema , pumpkin, stool softener. 
My moms dog had a bad time with it and we fed her cereal and used soap sticks.  Forgetting the name of the cereal.
