Granny's gone and done it again

DD cried over boiled eggs when she got home. Then she fell asleep.

Its dark here already. 

I had boiled eggs for snack after school. Little hona eggs. DD got 2 and bubba got 3. So she pitched a big fit and cried about it.

Straight lines? Easy peasy. I was taught to start from the middle, but if you pin it well enough then it won't matter. Start on an end and take your time.

I haven't even figured out how to use the sewing machine yet, but I did find a Granny to learn me!
She lives next door to my horses.
I told her I am going to stop by next week so she can teach me a few things.
What I didn't say is that I plan on bringing everything I need to make a bed quilt!
Hopefully I can get it done if she teaches me the basics!!

If not Ill leave the stuff with her and have her make it and tell her to give me a bill.

Im thinking its just a big rectangle....couldn't i just put 3 pieces together like a sandwich and just sew around the edges?

My eggs were yucky and I told CB to pitch them. He started throwing them at me. Got my foot with one of them.

The quilt (store bought) I have on my bed now has all kinds of waving/culry lines sewn in...(what is this sewn in thing called)..
now I know I wouldn't even try to sew something like it but with just straight lines...it can't be that hard can it?
