No babies at my feed store yet, or I'd be doomed.

i told the girl to get me the marans that didn't have so much white on their heads.i have read that the roo's have the large white spot..i checked the wings and if i'm right i have 2 roo's...

Chicken logic, eh?

I really shouldn't be getting or hatching any more birds until my new coop is done. But I want leghorns, WR, and 'lorps real bad. Decisions, decisions...

The tetra tint according with Mt Healthy catalog is: "a cross between a Rhode Island male and a Leghorn female, producing cream colores or tinted eggs". The bird is described as mostly white with at times some brown or even black hightlights. In the catalog the hen in the picture looks llike a off white leghorn.
