Looks like they had a rough day in Madison. Fish tank looks cool and so does the turkey egg. Didn't know they were speckled.

theres also a small hole about mid way that you can see a purple crystal in it. Like inside geodes

Hard to say how old it is. We have a small petrified forest near us here. Hubs and I also saw the big one in Arizona. You would love that one. We got there kind of late in the day and it was close to closing. We ran this trail from one amazing thing to the next. I don't remember an arch.

The video doesn't do the colors justice. So much prettier in person , in the sun. I think many of the beautiful pieces have been removed, especially the crystals. I think if th ey catch you taking stuff, you can go to jail. Of course they sell pieces in the gift shop! But supposedly they are from outside the park.
