Granny, your gonna have to start cooking green & orange veggies & meat to get Tom s a1c down. That's what dh & me are having to eat. No refined flour or sugar. Make waffles out of ground flax seed. They are delicious. Roast your veggies- sweet potatoes, butternut squash, carrots, asparagus, broccolli, brussel sprouts. Just toss with real butter or olive oil @ salt & pepper & bake for 35 minutes at 350*.
