But don't they have really small egg capacity except in the really large ones, and no turners?

I doubt it, 'specially if she's kept chickens that long; such things happen. Just gotta pick yourself up, dust yourself off, & get back on the horse.Morning all.
I need some quick advice.
My chicken lady friend just called me. She was crying so hard it took a few minutes
for me to understand what she was trying to say....
An opossum got in one of her outdoor coops where she had just moved two 3 months old.
She did have them in a little wire cage inside the "big" coop with all the adults....but when I was
visiting the other day, I mentioned that the little bitty cage was way too small for them.
She was scared to release them into the big coop with everyone so she put them in the other coop.
Now this lady has had chickens forever.
Two huge walk in coops, one on each side of her house.
This 2nd coop has always had chickens in it, up until a few months ago when she sold the whole group together.
I tried to calm her down over the phone but really did NOT know what to say...
I told her to give me a few minutes and i would run over there to sit with her.
WHAT DO I/CAN I Say?
She is heart broken and I know if is not my fault, but I have a feeling she thinks it is.....
I just realized something, Where/ how did Robert learn all that mess ? He been watching porn ?
I'm heading over now..
I'm going to offer to help try to "fix" the coop..where the critter got in.
She is older than me...gotta be atlas in her mid 60's, her husband works out of town.
she is by herself all week long, he only comes home on the weekends..
i feel sorry for her.
I know she is lonely..
Im going pick up some coffee and donuts.
